Hm, I've just returned from having steamboat with the 28th councillors at Marina South. Eating out with friends is an enjoyable experience as usual, regardless of all that smoke, burnt stuff etc etc which is part of a steamboat experience. Looking forward to the next time =)

However, this time round at the end of everything, I somehow seemed more drained than usual even though I didnt really do that much stuff. Its kind of a weird feeling. Like all of a sudden you just feel "Tired ah..." then in my case, things like noise start to get irritating again. So that was the signal for me to better return home in case things worsen. But I kind of feel bad about suddenly leaving my group of friends without any real notice... It just seems like a selfish act. Perhaps I am just thinking too much again hm... Everyone has a off-form day once in a while after all.

Tomorrow is countdown day for the new year. Wonder if there will be any gathering again? I'll find out eventually I guess. Somehow I dont really think countdown day will feel like any special day unless you choose to make it special. Well that's my view.

Cya again everyone.

Yo everyone. The New Year quickly approaches huh? Time seems to pass quite quickly even though I must say each passing day kind of feels long sometimes.

Hey, yesterday's first day at work was definitely more than I expected haha. Well I finally managed to learn a bit more about what my Dad usually does at work. And man... Working at a sawmill definitely takes more than just mere muscle power. Of course regardless of any job, critical thinking is always needed. Starting my first day at the sawmill really made me feel like a greenhorn after all. And well, I picked up a few things about how to move, plain(smoothen) and pack together wood. And that's really a lot of wood haha... Especially the heavy ones... They're definitely a killer if you dont know how to do things properly. And if you're not alert you might end up injuring your hands. I must say there's relatively a lot of potential hazards around. Spiltters, large heavy wooden loads, the fork-lift, etc etc. But everyone manages to complete work without any major problems. So I will say that the job is feasible.

But, its only half a day of work and I'm starting to feel parts aching all over my body haha.. So its still challenging for me after all. Well, at least I'm making myself useful, even though my efficiency is low. At least next time I wont be so blur already. And hopefully I'll get better at the job. =)

After a day's work, nothing is more satisfying than returning back home haha...

Oh well, cya then everyone.

Hi everyone, hm... Long time no see perhaps? Looks like its a late update, but first of all, Merry Christmas! Haha.

And soon enough, A Happy New Year as well.

So, I think now I'll begin my post.

Let's see... Well, maybe I've not been as busy as most of you people who have started work before already, but at least I've been keeping myself busy as well also. Last week, I've been helping do the repainting of the house. And yeah, the painting was done in a whole week. Well, I guess you all might be thinking there's nothing much to talk about regarding painting, but I guess when any of you all start repainting your house, you'll get the idea that things arent that simple after all. Yes, in a sense hard labour. =p But hey, the satisfaction after that is a great enough reward.

At least I'm quite proud of all that painting that I completed. And perhaps I am a bit more appreciative of the walls which I face at home everyday. But honestly, I wonder how many people actually bother to take notice of your house walls? Unless I think you have to clean them. Or when they have problems. Well I guess I have to be more observant of my surroundings at least. One of my weaknesses. Daily observations. Know me well enough and you'll figure that out bah.

As for today, me and a few of my class guys had a great badminton session. And after that, we went swimming also and managed to discuss some issues regarding our S10A gathering haha. I can say things are more or less starting to be organised. Everyone please reply the forwarded sms! That's if you have read this post that is.

Tmr, I'm finally starting to help out at my Dad's sawmill. Wonder what kind of jobs I will be doing haha. Well I'll find out soon enough.

Take care everyone, enjoy the holidays. Less than 4 more months till I enlist hm...

Phew... What a long Prom Night experience that was....

Well, I finally reached home, and I'm still feeling quite energetic. Partially it might be cause I dont have to worry about waking up early to go to work, unlike the rest of my friends. Well, you must really know how to respect the working class. Things are definitely a lot different from studying all together... Of course, currently I'm all just talk, and havent really gone into seriously getting a job yet, but I guess anyone should get the idea that working at jobs just isnt that simple. My time will come eventually, then I'll see what skills I have are actually useful after all.. Another learning experience I guess.

Now, the main subject on prom. Hm.. honestly, I didnt really eat that much after all to "make worthwhile my money". But I'm quite satisfied with the overall experience. I mean, what's most important in the end is still having good company. That's my opinion, and I think I am a easily satisfied person that way perhaps. Well, you could also say I'm a boring guy. It's as if saying that nothing matters except having good company. Just an experience that I can enjoy myself at. And I really had a good time.

Hm.. the overall schedule was quite simple, the emcee was quite an interesting guy and some of us had quite a lot of fun playing the "games" that were organised to liven up the mood. In the end the team (King or Queen) that won the most points was allowed to have a bonus lucky draw. Other than that, its the usual organised draw for prize giving.

Of course, I will upload some pictures soon... And perhaps a few short video clips that I took.
One comment I definitely must mention about prom night is....

Flashes! Cameras! In-prompt-to Photography!!!

We waited quite a while before we actually could enter the ballroom, and so its photos, photos, photos, and many more photos. Personally, I aint too much of a photo fanatic. I just wait for opportunities to come, or if I feel its really a must take photo... I dont really have the habit to ask people to take photos with me haha... I'm less "proactive" when using cameras. Perhaps some of my friends will send me some of their good photos also haha... Especially those group photos of everyone.

After prom, everyone parted their different ways and split into different groups for "Post-prom entertainment". Well, clubbing really isnt my kind of style cause I admit I dont dance well. I bet after army after getting a fitter body I'll be more confident of myself doing "stunts". Its about self-confidence man. Then maybe I'll go clubbing just to see what its like. Of course, in the end I'll have to see if I like the atmosphere at clubs, and I definitely will prefer to just accompany my closer friends if they preferred other places. The last thing I ever want happening to me is to get drunk and well, start doing stupid acts. And worse of all, you need to be "escorted" back home if you're really drunk. I really dont like the idea of bothering people cause of personal problems. But getting drunk just for the sake of testing the limit might yet be another idea.. Next time perhaps... next time.

This time round, me and my friends didnt even touch a sip of alcohol. Partially cause there wasnt any alcohol provided at the prom to begin with haha. And I dont think we're that desperate to drink alcoholic drinks... Why would you want to get drunk and spoil the whole prom mood? Ok I didnt think until that much but I mean, no alcohol then no alcohol lor, its no big deal. What's more important is to just simply enjoy the experience.
Friends just rock man. Beats rotting at home playing games all day long.... just to kill time. To have a more fulfilling lifestyle, I guess its a good thing to be more "happening", and enjoy time with friends. Balance is always the keyword.

I believe most of my friends will agree with me. As time passes, I always realise there are more things that I should change about myself. And hopefully these changes are for the better and eventually lead me to more answers about myself. Haha... its a really really long story and continuous cycle.

Take care everyone... All the best in your future endeavours. We all lead different difficult journeys of life, so never give up when facing obstacles!

The tiredness is seeping in, and I feel that I can finally need to go to sleep now. Will update photos soon.

Update:

Hm.... It kind of seems that I didnt really take a lot of pictures after all, and they dont look too good either. =P So I guess I wont be updating them after all. Ah.. Well I dont mind that much either. Sorry for anyone who was looking forward to photos though...

Back to daily holiday life again....
